An online consultation is a review of your history, your photographs and your lab reports by the NeoGraft clinical team — not a chatbot and not a sales call. It is where prescription treatment is decided, and where a plan that is not working gets changed.
What the consultation covers
- Your hair history, pattern and how long it has been going on
- Review of your scalp photographs
- Review of your blood reports, if you have had them done
- Confirming or changing the protocol you were shown online
- Prescription medicines, where they are suitable for you
- Whether an in-clinic examination or a procedure is the better next step
Who should consult rather than self-start
Most people can safely begin a supportive routine on their own. These situations should not be self-started:
Sudden or patchy hair loss · scalp pain, sores, redness or oozing · scarring of the scalp · pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding · under 18 · a heart or blood-pressure condition or medicines for it · hair loss getting rapidly worse.
You should also consult if you want a prescription item (Neomax / dutasteride, or Tab Neominox 2.5 / oral minoxidil), if you have PCOD, if your hair loss is very severe, or if you have been consistent on a plan for three to six months and it is not under control.
How to prepare
Photographs. Take four in daylight, near a window, without flash: front hairline, top of the head looking down, crown from behind, and one of the temples. Use the same angles each month so progress can actually be compared.
Reports. If you have had blood tests in the last six to twelve months, keep them at hand. If you have not, print the referral list from Build My Plan and get them done at any laboratory — they are not sold here.
Your history. Note when the hair fall started, what was happening around then (illness, fever, surgery, delivery, weight loss, a new medicine), what you have already tried and for how long, and any medical conditions or medicines you are on.
Prescription medicines
Neomax (dutasteride) and Tab Neominox 2.5 (oral minoxidil) are prescription medicines. They are never added to an order automatically and never dispensed without the doctor approving your case. If you add Neomax to your cart, an Online Consultation is added with it — that is deliberate.

An online consultation does not replace emergency care, and some cases need to be examined in person. If a clinic visit is the right next step, the doctor will say so.

Is this a video call or a chat?
The clinical team will confirm the format and timing after you book. Keep your photographs and reports ready either way.
Do I need blood tests before the consultation?
They help a great deal, but you can consult without them and get them done afterwards. The referral list is free to print from Build My Plan.
Will I be sold products I do not need?
No. The protocol is decided from your case. Some people are told to stop things rather than add them.
My plan is not working. Should I consult?
Yes — if you have been consistent for three to six months and the hair fall is not under control, that is exactly when to chat with the doctor rather than adding more products.
